Shawn Livesay, born and raised in Texarcana, Texas, was a full spirited man who loved life. There was never a day where Shawn didn't thank God for the day he spent living to the fullest. Tragically, Shawn was suddenly killed in a fatal automobile accident in April 2003 when his family and friends finally realized the impact he had made on their lives. He changed the world! He made everything a better place! He loved everything about his life from his family and friends to his work. He did everything he could to make everyone happy and everyone loved him for it! You will never be forgotten- there is not a day that goes by where we don't think about you. I can feel your warmth shining down from heaven and know you are watching over everyone you left.
We miss you so much dad there just aren't enough words that can express the feeling. Can't wait to see you in another life!
“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.â€
"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy."

Husband & Father
Shawn was truly a great father and husband. He took care of my every need, even when I was down. He loved his children and was always active in their lives. He truly lived each day like it were his last. He will always be remembered for his laughs and his zest for life.
Missing you
Don’t think of him as gone away,
his journey’s just begun.
Life holds so many facts,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting,
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing,
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away.
And think of him as living,
in the hearts of those she touched ...
For nothing loved is ever lost
